In build 3240 we have introduced a new component in the Remote API called "Impersonation" which allows the client to act within the privilege constraints of a particular user. We've been planning this update for some time and it will support the development of a variety of applications that can be used by the users rather than just administrators.
We have produced the first public version of the Outlook AddIn that will be expanded and updated in the near future. The first implementation allows users to configure and activate their Autoresponders.
To begin, download and install the Mailtraq Outlook AddIn. Next time you start Outlook a button labelled Configure Mailtraq will appear in the Add-Ins toolbar.
When you click on this button for the first time you will need to log in to your Mailtraq account. Your credentials are stored locally so this only has to be done the first time.
Once you have successfully logged in the Autoresponder tab will appear.
We will continue to update this application and add new functionality. If you wish to develop your own client side applications ask for information in the Mailtraq Development Forum.
