Bind to specific IP address for outgoing SMTP (2.17.4.3212)

As of build 3212 it is possible to specify the IP address used for outgoing mail connections if you are using the Advanced Router. If you have multiple IP addresses and each address has a separate reverse DNS entry you will want to have specific messages sent from that IP address.

This is a per-route configuration so you can control which destination domains are sent to from a specific address. Less obviously, you can determine which sending domains are associated with the specific IP address using filters.

Click on the Filter button and configure a filter to match only specific from addresses.

In this example all mail from "example.com" will be bound to a specific IP address, 192.168.2.102.
