Publish a 'public' calendar

Postby Susan Bunbury » Tue Sep 30th, 2008 7:25am

This is a way to publish a Mailtraq calendar on the web publicly without having to login to view it.

Create a user called "guest" who has the appropriate read-only calendar access.
Log in via EWA and fetch the RSS URL.

This URL should include a login hash, which is the "h=" parameter.

Remove the "WebMail" permission from the "guest" user.
See: for how to do this

You can then use a URL like this :-

Code: Select all

where HASH is taken from the h= parameter produced for the RSS feed and CALENDARNAME is the name of the calendar to view.

This URL can be linked-to from your website or published in an I-Frame.
Best wishes,

Sales and Initial Support
